Potato Bags

BOPP Bags
NZ Crop Care's custom potato bags were developed in 2002, due to the need by growers to have
their own custom made bag.
Digital photography and graphics of rural scenes, potato fields and various varieties of potatoes can
be taken and reproduced with high tech resolution. The bags are constructed of three ply material.
The outer film has the printed graphics, the next layer is a polypropylene webbing which gives the
bag its integral advantage over paper, especially where bags are stored in coolers. The last layer the
inner craft paper in (brown) protects the potatoes from premature greening and absorbs any light or
moisture that may arise from sweating. Punching holes down both gussets has allowed the NZ Crop
Care's potato bags to breath, when at specific times the bags are taken in and out of coolers in
various temperatures; air can flow 'in and out'.

Bag sizes available:

20kg - 760mm x 345mm x 125mm
10kg - 610mm x 280mm x 130mm and 660mm x 280mm x 130mm
5kg - 460mm x 280mm x 130mm

NB: The 5kg bag will fit on the conventional bagging machine.

Paper Bags

Paper bags have now been developed with a unique paper photography giving better, sharper
graphics than conventional paper can give, enabling us to use digital photo's and graphics. The bags
are a three layer construction with wet strength inner layer with white or red handle.

20kg - 760mm x 345mm x 125mm
10kg - 610mm x 280mm x 130mm
5kg - 460mm x 280mm x 130mm

NB: The 5kg bag will fit on the conventional bagging machine.
