Potato Bags

NZ Crop Care's custom potato bags were developed in 2002, due to the need by growers to have their own custom made bag.

Digital photography of rural scenes, potato fields and potato varieties can be taken and reproduced with high tech resolution. The pp polypropylene bags are constructed of three ply material.

The outer film has the printed graphics, the next layer is a polypropylene webbing which gives the bag its integral advantage over paper, especially where bags are stored in coolers. The last layer the inner brown wet strength paper protects the potatoes from premature greening and absorbs any moisture that may arise from sweating. Punching holes down both gussets has allows the bags to breath, at specific times should the bags be taken in and out of coolers, air can flow 'in and out'.

New 5kg, 10kg, 20kg Printed Paper bags with two layers of wet strength, easily outperforming any other potato paper bag in the market. The graphics are all digital using modern lithography, the image is made from a polymer coated flexible aluminium plate. The image can be printed directly from the plate to the bag, achieving super high strength images.

New 3-5kg printed plastic produce bags for use singly or provided on a wicket wire system for automatic baggers.

NB: NB: The 5kg bag will fit on the conventional bagging machine.
